The outline and notes should also highlight important points where you should put emphasis on and how it should be made. Even with the notes, you should also polish your presentation to complement the delivery of your speech.

4. Use visual aids. Instead of simply providing an insight into your speech, you can use your visual aids to guide you through presentation. A picture speaks a thousand words. Sometimes, by itself an image can deliver the message for you. It can be an effective launch pad for you to talk about items on your speech or to stress a particular point.
